ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather advisory warning of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds from June 26 to June 28, raising concerns of urban flooding, flash floods, and landslides across various regions of the country.
Widespread Rain Expected Across Multiple Regions

Authorities have also warned that weak structures—such as kacha houses, old buildings, electric poles, and unsecured vehicles—could be at risk of damage due to high winds and heavy rainfall.
The PMD has emphasized the need for emergency preparedness, advising local administrations and the public to stay alert and take preventive measures.
