Karachi Traffic Police Issues Advisory for Independence Day Celebrations at National Stadium

Karachi Traffic Police Issue Advisory for Independence Day and ‘Marka-e-Haq’ Event

The Karachi Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory for motorists ahead of Independence Day celebrations and the ‘Marka-e-Haq’ event scheduled to take place this evening at the National Bank Stadium.

According to the advisory, the event will start at 6:00 p.m., with heavy traffic congestion expected from 5:00 p.m. on all routes leading to the stadium. Traffic delays may continue until 2:00 a.m.

Motorists have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel between Civic Centre and the National Stadium during these hours to prevent inconvenience.

The ‘Marka-e-Haq’ celebration, themed to highlight Pakistan’s resilience, progress, and national pride following the April–May military confrontation with India, is expected to draw large crowds and result in road closures or diversions.

Authorities urge the public to plan their routes in advance and use alternate roads wherever possible.
