Punjab Food Authority Seizes 8,600 Liters of Adulterated Milk in Kot Addu

Β September 5, 2025

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has confiscated 8,600 liters of contaminated milk and seized a tanker during a major raid at a milk collection center in Aslam Chowk, Kot Addu.

The operation was supervised by Director Operations South, Shahzad Khan Magsi, after laboratory tests confirmed that the milk was adulterated with powder and harmful chemicals. The facility was immediately sealed, and a case has been registered against its owner.

PFA Director General Muhammad Asim Javed said that the destruction of unsafe milk was part of the authority’s ongoing crackdown on food adulteration across Punjab.

β€œBusinesses must comply with food safety laws. Anyone producing poison in the name of milk will be eliminated from the market,” he warned.

The PFA has vowed to continue strict action against those risking public health, ensuring that citizens have access to pure and safe food products.
