BetVictor English Open Day Six: Stuart Bingham Ends Four-Year Losing Streak

Stuart Bingham finally broke his four-year losing streak at the BetVictor English Open, cruising to a 4-0 win over Dylan Emery at the Brentwood Centre.
The 2015 World Champion, who lives just 25 minutes away in Basildon, had struggled at the venue since the tournament moved to Brentwood in 2022. Bingham showcased flawless form with breaks of 116, 103, 86, and 61, setting up an exciting clash with Northern Irishman Mark Allen, who defeated Scott Donaldson 4-1.
“I’ve broken the duck here in Brentwood. The first win in four years on my doorstep. I’m over the moon. I kept my concentration and made four good breaks,” said the 49-year-old.
