Temur, Samiullah star as Master Paints, Rijas/MP/IS record thrilling wins in Jinnah Legacy Polo Cup
LAHORE (October 29, 2025): Master Paints and Rijas/Master Paints/IS emerged victorious after closely fought encounters at the Jinnah Polo Fields on Wednesday.
The event, hosted by Jinnah Polo Club, attracted a strong turnout of fans, alongside the club’s Secretary Major (R) Adil Rao and several former polo players, who graced the occasion to support the teams.
In the day’s opening match, Master Paints edged past Diamond Paints/Din in a nail-biting finish, claiming an 8–7 victory after a fierce four-chukker battle. For Master Paints, Raja Temur Nadeem and Agha Musa Ali Khan scored three goals each, while Bilal Hayat Noon contributed two crucial goals. On the opposing side, Raja Jalal Arsalan and Mir Hazaifa Ahmed struck three goals apiece for Diamond Paints/Din, with Mir Shoaib Ahmed adding one.
The second encounter was equally intense, with Rijas/Master Paints/IS pulling off a stunning comeback in the fourth chukker to defeat Indus Polo by 6–5. Star player Raja Samiullah led the charge for Rijas/Master Paints/IS with an outstanding five-goal performance, supported by Ibrahim Sultan, who added one. For Indus Polo, Bilal Haye scored three goals, while Muhammad Ali Malik struck two.
