Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn Rematch Reportedly Set for November 15 at Tottenham Stadium
The highly anticipated rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn appears to be back on the boxing calendar, with November 15 emerging as the likely date for the blockbuster showdown. According to a recent report by The Ring Magazine, the two British stars are set to meet once again at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London — the same venue where Eubank secured a unanimous decision win in their thrilling first bout on April 26.
Unfinished Business in the Ring
The event is tentatively titled “The Ring: Unfinished Business,” and it will continue the fierce rivalry between two of England’s most iconic boxing families. The rematch has reportedly received the green light from The Ring’s owner Turki Alalshikh, whose team will once again back the event financially, as they did for the first contest.
While BoxingScene was unable to independently confirm the full details, the endorsement by Alalshikh gives added credibility to the report.
A Family Legacy Rekindled
Eubank Jr.’s victory earlier this year was not only a personal triumph but also a continuation of a storied family rivalry. His father, Chris Eubank Sr., and Conor Benn’s father, Nigel Benn, were two of the biggest names in UK boxing during the 1990s. That legacy added significant weight to the April clash, which marked the third official fight between the Eubank and Benn families, with Team Eubank now leading 2-0-1 across the generations.
In an emotional moment during the April fight, Eubank Jr. was joined by his father during the ring walk, and he went on to win the fight with a score of 116-112 on all three judges’ scorecards — handing Benn (23-1, 14 KOs) the first loss of his career.
Controversy and Delays
The original bout was fought at 160 pounds, with a strict 10-pound rehydration clause in place. Eubank Jr. reportedly missed the weight by 0.2 pounds, arriving late to the official weigh-in. Although he was fined $500,000 USD, he complied with the remaining fight terms, and the bout went ahead as scheduled.
Plans for a rematch were initially discussed shortly after the first fight, with September 20 or 27 floated as potential dates. While Matchroom Boxing and Team Benn were ready to proceed, Eubank Jr. — who was briefly hospitalized after the bout — remained silent and did not sign off on the fight in time.
At one point, it was believed that Riyadh Season and Sela would not be involved in the rematch. However, recent developments indicate that all parties are now aligned and ready to move forward.
A Busy November for Boxing Fans
The Eubank-Benn sequel will kick off a busy stretch for The Ring, coming just one week before the major “Ring IV” boxing event on November 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Boxing enthusiasts will no doubt be treated to two consecutive weekends of elite action.
