Five World Championship teams to join hosts at Korea Invitational

Korea Invitational 2025: Six National Teams Gear Up for Women’s Volleyball World Championship

The 2025 Korea Invitational Women’s Volleyball Tournament kicks off this week in Jinju, South Korea, just days before the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship begins in Thailand. From August 12 to 17, six powerhouse teams will battle in a single round-robin format, delivering fans 15 exciting matches in the lead-up to the sport’s biggest event.

Host nation Korea will welcome five other teams that will also feature in the upcoming World Championship: Argentina, Czechia, France, Japan, and Sweden. For all six squads, this tournament is the final chance to test lineups, strategies, and form before the global showdown starting August 22.
