PCB Announces 15-Member Squad for T20I Series Against Bangladesh
LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced a 15-player squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, set to be held from July 20 to 24 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
Salman Ali Agha to Lead Young T20 Squad
Salman Ali Agha will once again lead the national side as the PCB continues to invest in emerging talent. Notably, senior players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi remain absent as selectors focus on testing the depth of Pakistan’s T20 bench strength.
The Men’s National Selection Committee finalized the squad on Monday, with a vision to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 and future white-ball series.
Notable Inclusions and Comebacks
The squad sees the return of Mohammad Nawaz and Sufiyan Muqeem, while Ahmed Daniyal earns a call-up to the national setup. Several players, including Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, and Hussain Talat, will look to solidify their positions in the T20 format.
