 Nov 15, 2025

The Sindh government has introduced a new route for Karachi’s women-only Pink Bus Service, with operations scheduled to begin on November 17, 2025. The latest route will run between Abdullah Chowk and Numaish, providing women with a dedicated and reliable travel option during busy hours.

Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced the details on Saturday. He confirmed that the Pink Bus will run at three fixed times daily: 8am to 9am, 1pm to 2pm, and 5pm to 7pm, ensuring safer and more convenient travel for women navigating Karachi’s most crowded areas.

Sharjeel Inam Memon noted that the service is designed exclusively for women and aims to enhance comfort, safety, and accessibility. Each bus is fitted with security measures, tracking technology, and trained staff to maintain a secure travel environment. He also shared that the Sindh government intends to expand the Pink Bus network to more neighbourhoods in future phases.

The minister added that the initiative plays an important role in improving women’s access to education and employment by offering dependable and safe transportation.
