Karachi Traffic Plan for 12 Rabi-ul-Awal Processions Announced

The Karachi Traffic Police have issued a comprehensive traffic management plan for the 12 Rabi-ul-Awal processions scheduled across the city on Saturday.
Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) is observed with great devotion across Pakistan, and Karachi will host several large religious gatherings and processions to mark the occasion.
Key Highlights of the Plan
A traffic police spokesperson confirmed that all SSPs will supervise processions in their districts to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.
Two major processions will begin from Memon Masjid:

2:30 PM → Ending at Aram Bagh Masjid

3:00 PM (Central Procession) → Led by Maulana Shah Abdul Haq Qadri, ending at Nishtar Park
During these events, MA Jinnah Road will remain closed for regular traffic, except for vehicles officially participating with stickers issued by authorities.

Important Advisory

All heavy and commercial vehicles will be banned from entering the city on 12 Rabi-ul-Awal.

Citizens are advised to plan their routes in advance and use alternative roads to avoid delays.
The Karachi Traffic Police assured that full security and traffic arrangements have been made to ensure a safe and smooth observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
