Majority of Students Fail as Peshawar Board Records 56% Failure Rate

Peshawar Board Announces Class 11 Results with 44% Pass Rate

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has officially declared the Class 11 examination results, revealing a pass percentage of only 44%.

According to the board, a total of 66,695 students appeared in the exams. Out of these, 29,487 students passed, while 37,208 could not clear their papers.

Officials confirmed that nearly 56% of students will need to reappear in the upcoming second annual examinations.

Despite the low success rate, the current promotion policy ensures that students who failed will still be promoted to 12th grade, even if they did not clear all subjects.

The Class 11 results for Peshawar were released on August 30, along with results from other Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boards.
