Lahore: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued a province-wide alert to counter the rising threat of dengue fever, urging citizens to adopt strict preventive measures against the mosquito-borne disease.

Following instructions from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, PDMA Director General Irfan Ali Kathia has directed all departments to enforce emergency dengue prevention protocols. Special focus is being given to sanitation in flood-affected areas to ensure mosquito-free surroundings.
