Master Paints and SQ Seagold/Newage record emphatic wins in Jinnah Legacy Polo Cup

LAHORE (October 28, 2025): The Jinnah Legacy Polo Cup 2025 witnessed thrilling encounters at the Jinnah Polo Fields, where Master Paints and SQ Seagold/Newage registered convincing victories over their respective opponents on Tuesday.

In the first match of the day, Master Paints showcased excellent teamwork and attacking flair to defeat Imperial Polo by 8โ€“5. For Master Paints, Agha Musa Ali Khan led the charge with four brilliant goals, displaying outstanding control and precision. Bilal Hayat Noon added two well-struck field goals, while Mumtaz Abbas Niazi contributed one field goal to the teamโ€™s tally.
For Imperial Polo, Ibrahim Sheikh and Mumtaz Abbas Niazi struck one goal each, while Syed Aun Rizvi and Omar Asjad Malhi added one goal apiece to reduce the deficit. However, Master Paintsโ€™ strong defensive play ensured they maintained control throughout, securing a well-deserved win. The match was officiated by umpires M Ali Malik and Saqib Khan Khakwani.

In the second match of the day, SQ Seagold/Newage dominated proceedings with a commanding 12โ€“5ยฝ triumph over Chak Retreat. Star player Saqib Khan Khakwani was in sublime form, hammering seven goals, including a spot penalty and several spectacular field efforts. Taimur Nawaz added two goals, while Bilal Noon and Alman Jaleel Azam scored one goal each, rounding off an all-round team performance.

For Chak Retreat, Haris Haroon and Malik Ali Kuli Khan managed to add crucial goals, but the side struggled to contain the high-tempo attack from SQ Seagold/Newage. Despite a 1ยฝ-goal handicap advantage, Chak Retreat couldnโ€™t match their opponentsโ€™ superior pace and accuracy. The match was officiated by umpires Maj Adil Rao (R) and Syed Aun Rizvi.

Earlier on the first day, two matches were decided at the Jinnah Polo Fields. FG/Din defeated SEAFA Logistics International by 8ยฝ-6 while in the other match, Rijas/Master/IS outpaced Team Balochistan by 11-7ยฝ.
