Key Guidelines for Pilgrims
-
All payments must be made through banks directly into the account of the registered Umrah company.
-
Pilgrims should always obtain a payment receipt and keep a copy of the signed agreement.
-
Bookings must only be made with approved operators that provide complete Umrah packages, including visa, airfare, accommodation, and transport services.
Officials highlighted that the initiative is part of broader efforts to improve transparency and protect travelers from unlicensed agents offering incomplete or fraudulent packages.
The ministry has advised the public to remain vigilant and only engage with operators featured on the updated list.
