Los Angeles: Shohei Ohtani starred for the Los Angeles Dodgers, hitting two doubles off the wall and scoring a key run as the Dodgers edged the San Francisco Giants 2-1 on Thursday night.
Ohtani’s contribution helped Freddie Freeman drive him home during a two-run sixth inning, giving the Dodgers the decisive lead. Despite some struggles from their bullpen, Los Angeles secured their eighth win in 11 games, strengthening their hold atop the NL West.
