Kohat Terror Attack: One Policeman Martyred, Three Terrorists Killed in KP Operation
Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – August 30, 2025 – At least one police officer was martyred and three terrorists were killed during a firefight in Kohat district, police confirmed on Saturday.
Regional Police Officer Kohat, Abbas Majeed Marwat, said the incident occurred during an operation in the mountains of Darmalak. “One policeman was martyred and two others injured while confronting terrorists. Three terrorists have been killed and several others injured,” he added. Authorities are actively pursuing the remaining suspects.
A statement from Rescue 1122 said the attack took place near the Darmalak police post, where the martyred officer was killed on the spot. The two injured personnel were rushed to Kohat District Headquarters Hospital.
Marwat emphasized that the police will honor the sacrifices of their martyrs and continue the fight against terrorism.
