Beach Polo World Cup Returns to Miami Beach for 20th Anniversary This Fall
The World Polo League Beach Polo World Cup is set to make a thrilling return to the white sands of Collins Park, Miami Beach, from November 6–9, 2025, celebrating its 20th anniversary in spectacular style.
Recognized as the world’s largest beach polo tournament, the event will feature at least eight top-level teams, world-class players, and elite horses competing over four exciting days. The opening day will kick off with Pride Polo, showcasing the best LGBTQ athletes in the sport. From Friday to Sunday, fans can enjoy the main event — the WPL Miami Beach Polo World Cup.
Last year’s tournament delivered an unforgettable finale as Beach Club staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Blackfin 7-6 in the final moments, with Argentine star Alejandro Novillo Astrada earning the Most Valuable Player award for his exceptional defensive performance.
Speaking ahead of this year’s competition, Astrada shared his enthusiasm:
“Beach polo is so much fun. The crowd is right there with you — cheering from the beach and reacting to every play. It’s a completely different atmosphere from playing on grass.”
Free General Admission & VIP Experiences
Fans can enjoy free general admission and access to the lively retail village, offering fashion, accessories, and home décor. For an elevated experience, VIP guests can relax in a shaded lounge with prime views of the field, an open bar, a live DJ, and a gourmet buffet.

A Legacy of Polo Excellence
The Beach Polo World Cup was first introduced to Miami Beach in 2005 by Swiss polo visionary Reto Gaudenzi, the creator of the Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz. Revived in 2018 by his son Tito Gaudenzi and Melissa Ganzi of Grand Champions Polo Club, the event has grown into a premier showcase of high-goal polo in the United States.
Grand Champions Polo Club, the tournament’s host, boasts world-class facilities with 10 championship fields, professional coaching, and Polo On Demand programs for players of all levels, cementing its place as a hub for polo excellence year-round.
