Pakistan’s Noor Zaman and Nasir Iqbal Advance to Semi-Finals at Asian Doubles Squash Championships

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s squash players Noor Zaman and Nasir Iqbal have reached the semi-finals of the Asian Doubles Squash Championships after a strong performance against South Korea in the quarter-finals held on Tuesday.

The Pakistani duo secured a 2-1 victory, with game scores of 11-3, 5-11, and 11-4, in a closely contested match that lasted 37 minutes. Their win marks a significant achievement for the national team in this prestigious regional competition.

With this result, Pakistan will now face Malaysia in the semi-final round, scheduled for Wednesday.

The Asian Doubles Squash Championships, currently in its second edition, brings together top-ranked pairs from across Asia. The tournament plays an important role in preparation for upcoming international events, including the Asian Games.
