The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has confirmed that Pakistani security forces successfully repelled a cross-border attack from the Afghan side in the Spin Boldak area of Balochistan early Wednesday morning.
According to an ISPR statement, armed militants launched coordinated assaults at four locations near the border, which were effectively countered by Pakistani troops.
“During the exchange of fire, around 15 to 20 attackers were killed, while several others sustained injuries,” the ISPR reported.
The statement further added that additional hostile movements were being observed near staging points across the border, and that Pakistani forces remain on high alert to ensure border stability.
The ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s stance that any attempt to violate its territorial integrity will be met with a firm response.
