Lahore Announces Revised Wage Rates for Daily Workers

 Oct 15, 2025

The Lahore district administration has officially revised the wage structure for laborers, setting new minimum rates for skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers across the city.

According to the latest notification, the daily wage for unskilled laborers has been increased to Rs. 1,538, translating to a monthly income of Rs. 40,000.

Similarly, semi-skilled workers will now receive Rs. 1,558 per day, amounting to Rs. 43,108 per month, while skilled workers will earn Rs. 1,975 daily, bringing their monthly salary to Rs. 45,945.

Officials stated that the revised wage structure reflects the administration’s efforts to provide fair compensation in light of inflation and the rising cost of living. The move aims to ensure that laborers in Lahore receive equitable pay and better financial protection.

The updated rates will apply to all categories of daily-wage workers employed in both the public and private sectors within the city limits.
