Parrillo Polo Crowned Champions of First-Ever USPA Midwest Women’s Open

History was made on Monday as the first-ever final of the USPA Midwest Women’s Open took place at Las Brisas Polo Club, located on the outskirts of Chicago. The highly anticipated match featured Las Brisas and Parrillo Polo, showcasing the growing strength of women’s polo across the world.
Parrillo Polo, who entered the game with a one-goal advantage by handicap, quickly established control. By the end of the second chukka, they had built a commanding 5–1 lead, leaving Las Brisas struggling to catch up. Their dominance continued into the third chukka, where they extended the score to 7–3.
In the final stages, Las Brisas mounted a strong comeback, outscoring Parrillo Polo 3–0 in the last chukka. However, it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit, and Parrillo Polo held on for a dramatic 7–6 victory, claiming the historic title.
