In a major development, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended all No Objection Certificates (NOCs) previously granted to national cricketers for participation in overseas franchise leagues. The decision takes effect immediately and applies to both centrally contracted and domestic players.

While the PCB has not issued an official explanation, reports suggest the move could be linked to Pakistan’s recent performance in the 2025 Asia Cup. For now, players will not be permitted to feature in foreign leagues until further notice.
