Peshawar Zalmi Record Victory Over Karachi Kings in PSL 11
Peshawar Zalmi delivered a dominant performance to defeat Karachi Kings by a record 159 runs in a Pakistan Super League 11 match at National Bank Stadium.
Batting first, Zalmi posted an imposing total of 246/3 in their 20 overs. Kusal Mendis led the charge with an outstanding 109 runs off 52 balls, earning Player of the Match. He was well supported by Babar Azam, who remained unbeaten on 87.

After an early wicket, Mendis and Babar built a strong 191-run partnership, putting the opposition under pressure. Later, Abdul Samad added quick runs at the end to further strengthen the total.
In response, Karachi Kings struggled to keep up with the required run rate and were bowled out for 87 runs in just over 16 overs. Azam Khan was the top scorer for his side with 25 runs.
Zalmi’s bowlers delivered an equally strong performance, with Nahid Rana, Sufiyan Muqeem, and Iftikhar Ahmed each taking three wickets. Shoriful Islam also contributed with one wicket.
For Karachi Kings, Abbas Afridi took two wickets, while Khushdil Shah claimed one.
This comprehensive win marks one of the biggest victories in PSL history and highlights Peshawar Zalmi’s strong form in the tournament.
