The Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) cricket trials, organized in collaboration with Lahore Qalandars, continued their successful journey with back-to-back events in Sialkot and Jhelum, attracting thousands of enthusiastic boys and girls eager to showcase their cricketing talent.

Designed to provide aspiring players with a clear pathway to professional opportunities, the trials received an overwhelming response at both venues, with energetic youth determined to impress and seize the opportunity of a lifetime.

The Jhelum trials gained added prominence with Federal Minister Bilal Kiyani hosting the event, while US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker attended the opening day, highlighting the initiative’s international recognition. Their presence boosted the morale of young cricketers and emphasized the importance of investing in youth development through sports.

Lahore Qalandars CEO Atif Rana expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, PMYP Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for their support. He also thanked the youth of Sialkot and Jhelum for their remarkable participation.

“The passion and energy we witnessed were beyond expectations. These trials prove that dreams can come true when talent is given the right opportunity,” said Atif Rana.

Young participants also expressed their appreciation, describing the trials as a “dream come true” that offered exposure, professional guidance, and the chance to turn their cricketing aspirations into reality.

With expert coaching and professional evaluation from Lahore Qalandars, the trials are not only discovering hidden cricketing talent but also instilling confidence, discipline, and hope among Pakistan’s youth.
