The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has introduced a convenient online system for traffic challan payments, marking a major step forward in its digital governance initiative.
With this newly launched platform, citizens can now pay their traffic fines online—eliminating the hassle of standing in long queues at banks or visiting traffic offices. The system aims to enhance service delivery, improve transparency, and reduce the chances of corruption in the traffic fine collection process.
Officials believe this digital solution will not only save valuable time for the public and traffic authorities but also boost government revenue through a more efficient collection process.
Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Science and Information Technology, announced the new service on social media, celebrating it as a key milestone in KP’s e-governance journey.
The online traffic challan payment system is part of a broader set of digital reforms the KP government is implementing to modernize its services and make them more accessible and citizen-friendly.
