Tottenham in Talks to Sign Manchester City’s Savinho in Permanent Deal
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in advanced talks with Manchester City over the permanent transfer of Brazilian winger Savinho, as the North London club looks to bolster its squad for the 2025/26 season.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, the 21-year-old attacker is open to leaving the Etihad Stadium in search of a new challenge in London. Spurs manager Thomas Frank is keen to bring in fresh talent to avoid a repeat of last season’s inconsistent Premier League form, which was only salvaged by their Europa League final victory against Manchester United.
Savinho, who enjoyed a breakout campaign on loan at Girona last season, made a huge impression by scoring three goals and providing 11 assists in 48 matches, starting in 36 of them.
If the deal goes through, it would mark the end of his short stint at Manchester City—just one year after joining the club—while giving Tottenham an exciting attacking option ahead of the new season.
