Severe weather conditions have caused delays on Day 9 (Saturday, August 2) at the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025, presented by RAXUS. To ensure the safety of all participants, the WBSC Events Department has advised teams to remain at their hotels until further notice.

  • Placement Round (10:30 UTC+8)

    • Germany vs. CzechiaPostponed

    • South Africa vs. CubaPostponed

  • Super Round Game 1 (14:30 UTC+8)

    • USA vs. Japan – The winner will advance directly to the World Championship Final.

  • Super Round Game 2 (14:30 UTC+8)

    • Mexico vs. Dominican Republic – Both teams are already eliminated from title contention.

  • Placement Match (18:30 UTC+8)

    • Australia vs. Panama – Competing for 8th place.

  • Super Round Game 3 (18:30 UTC+8)

    • Chinese Taipei vs. Korea – A win for Korea will send them to the Championship Final.

🔁 Possible Scenarios:

  • If Chinese Taipei and Japan win, a three-way tie (Chinese Taipei, USA, Korea at 3-2) will occur. The Team Quality Balance (TQB) will determine the finalist.

  • If Chinese Taipei and USA win, another three-way tie (Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea at 3-2) will occur. In this case, Japan advances due to earlier victories over Chinese Taipei (Opening Round) and Korea (Super Round).
