Luis Robert Jr. Powers White Sox to 13-9 Win Over Braves
Chicago, IL – Luis Robert Jr. led the Chicago White Sox to a 13-9 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Monday night, sparking a six-run fourth inning that put the game out of reach.
Robert crushed his 13th home run following Andrew Benintendi’s leadoff single, giving Chicago an early 3-0 lead. Mike Tauchman contributed a bases-loaded double, while Lenyn Sosa’s two-out RBI single extended the advantage to 7-0.
Earlier, Brooks Baldwin hit his eighth homer in the third inning to give the White Sox the lead. Sosa also smashed his 17th homer, a three-run shot in the sixth, pushing Chicago ahead 10-1. Kyle Teel and Benintendi each tallied four hits in Chicago’s 19-hit attack.

For Atlanta, Michael Harris II went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer, extending his hitting streak to 11 games and leading the majors with 49 hits since the All-Star break. Jurickson Profar also contributed two homers, a two-run shot in the sixth and a three-run homer in the eighth.
The White Sox’s offensive surge highlighted their power-hitting lineup, while the Braves showed flashes of scoring but couldn’t overcome Chicago’s dominant fourth inning.
