Anadolu Efes Istanbul has announced the signing of American forward Cole Swider for the 2025-26 season, marking his first move to European basketball.

Swider, 26, brings valuable experience from the NBA, having played with the Lakers, Heat, Pistons, and Raptors. Known for his three-point shooting, he impressed during the recent NBA Summer League with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Last season, Swider appeared in 10 NBA games, averaging 5.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in nearly 17 minutes per game.

At Anadolu Efes, he will join a talented roster under coach Igor Kokoskov, a former Phoenix Suns head coach. The team already features key players like Shane Larkin, Vincent Poirier, and Rodrigue Beaubois, with many contracts secured through 2026 and beyond.

Anadolu Efes continues to build a strong squad for the upcoming EuroLeague season as they welcome Swider to bolster their frontcourt.
