LAHORE: Matloob Ahmed of Garrison Golf Club secured a convincing victory at the 12th J.A. Zaman Memorial Golf Championship with a strong final-round performance.

Dominant final round performance

Starting the day level with rival M. Shabbir, Matloob quickly gained momentum with early birdies and maintained consistent form throughout the round. His steady play allowed him to build pressure on his competitor, who struggled to maintain rhythm.

A key turning point came on the seventh hole, where Matloob delivered an excellent approach and capitalized with a crucial advantage, helping him extend his lead.
