AOS, LSC, Master Paints, HSJ triumph in Lahore Smart City Polo in Pink Cup
LAHORE: Four thrilling matches kept spectators on the edge of their seats as AOS, Lahore Smart City, Master Paints, and Haroon Sharif Jewellers emerged victorious in their respective encounters on the fourth day of the Lahore Smart City Polo in Pink Cup 2025 at Lahore Polo Club on Thursday.
A large number of polo enthusiasts and families attended the matches, adding to the festive atmosphere at the club. Lahore Polo Club President Malik Azam Hayat Noon, members of the Executive Committee, and Secretary Maj (R) Amjad Ghaffor were also present to witness the action.
In the opening match, AOS edged past Nurpur Bandobast by 4–3 in a tightly contested battle. For AOS, Hamza Ijaz struck twice, while Ayan Salman and Col. Omer Minhas contributed a goal each. Saif Ullah Khan Noon stood out for Nurpur Bandobast, scoring all three of his team’s goals.
The second match saw Lahore Smart City overpower The Townhouse by 6½–3. Agha Musa Ali Khan led the charge with a fine hat-trick, while Bilal Haye and Farooq Amin Sufi added two and one goals, respectively. For The Townhouse, Omar Asjad Malhi, Ibrahim Sheikh, and Mumtaz Abbas Niazi scored a goal apiece.
In the third encounter, Master Paints showcased outstanding teamwork to register a commanding 11–6½ win over Platinum Homes. Emilia Garibay was in sublime form, netting five goals, while Raja Temur Nadeem, Bilal Hayat Noon, and Sufi Muhammad Hashim chipped in with two goals each. Muhammad Ali Malik and Jade Wheeler were the top scorers for Platinum Homes with two goals apiece.
The final match of the day featured a high-scoring thriller where Haroon Sharif Jewellers defeated Diamond Paints by 11–8½. Hamza Mawaz Khan shone brilliantly with five goals, Abbas Mukhtar added four, and Sheikh Muhammad Farhad scored twice. For Diamond Paints, Raja Jalal Arsalan netted four goals, while Mir Huzaifa Ahmed and Rabeel Hussain contributed two each. The tournament now moves into its decisive phase, with the semifinals scheduled for Friday (October 24, 2025).
