Bangladesh Beat Afghanistan by Two Wickets to Move 2-0 Up in T20 Series

 Bangladesh held their nerve in a tense finish today to beat Afghanistan by two wickets in the second T20 International of the three-match series, taking an unassailable 2–0 lead.

Chasing a competitive target, Bangladesh faced a stiff fight from Afghanistan’s bowlers and experienced a nervy close as the match went down to the final overs. Key lower-order batting and calm finishing saw the Tigers scramble over the line, sparking celebrations among the travelling fans and team staff.

With today’s result Bangladesh now sit 2–0 in the three-match series. Afghanistan will have one last chance to reply in the third and final T20, scheduled next in the series.
