Barcelona Crush Como 5-0 in Final Pre-Season Clash

Spanish champions Barcelona wrapped up their pre-season in style with a commanding 5-0 victory over Italian side Como on Sunday, showcasing their readiness to defend the La Liga title.

The win featured two goals each from Fermin Lopez and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, along with a first-half strike from Brazilian winger Raphinha. The match, held at the Johan Cruyff Stadium due to ongoing renovations at Camp Nou, was part of the traditional Joan Gamper Trophy celebrations.

A notable highlight was the return of goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to the captain’s role, following the resolution of his recent dispute with the club over injury management. Speaking to fans before kick-off, the German star said, “It’s time to move forward. We’ll fight for every trophy this season with your support.”

New loan signing Marcus Rashford made his debut, assisting Raphinha’s goal but also missing a golden chance to score himself.

Under new manager Hansi Flick, Barcelona looked sharp, fluid, and ready for their La Liga opener against Mallorca next Saturday.
