BRT Peshawar Service to be Extended to Famous Road

Peshawar BRT Service to Extend Route to Judicial Complex via Khyber Road

Peshawar’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system is set to expand its route to Khyber Road, making access to the Judicial Complex more convenient for the public.

According to a press release, the decision was finalized in a meeting chaired by Peshawar Bar Association President Qaiser Zaman. The session was attended by BRT Project Director Zahid Ali Shah, Sessions Court Administrator, the Court’s Security Officer, Additional Assistant Commissioner Sajjad, and other officials.

Zahid Ali Shah confirmed that the BRT authorities have approved the route extension in response to a formal request from the Bar Association. The new service will especially benefit lawyers, court staff, and litigants by providing direct and efficient access.

As part of the plan, a dedicated BRT station will be established at Gate No. 2 of the Judicial Complex for the convenience of visitors.

Qaiser Zaman thanked District and Sessions Judge Peshawar Inamullah Wazir, the BRT administration, and all relevant stakeholders for helping fulfill a longstanding demand of the legal community.
