Desert Vipers Sign Shadab Khan for Global Super League 2026

Pakistan’s star all-rounder and Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan has been selected by the Desert Vipers for the upcoming Global Super League (GSL) 2026.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 23 to August 1 in Guyana at the Providence Stadium.
Strong International Squad for Desert Vipers
The Desert Vipers have assembled a diverse squad featuring players from multiple cricketing nations. Key names include New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell and USA wicketkeeper-batter Andries Gous, who are expected to strengthen the top order.
The team will be led by Chris Green, who will also contribute as an all-rounder alongside players such as Shadab Khan and Khuzaima Bin Tanveer.

Shadab Khan brings extensive experience in franchise cricket, having participated in several major T20 leagues including:

Overall, he has played 98 PSL matches, scoring 1,486 runs at a strike rate of 142.20, including nine half-centuries. With the ball, he has taken 112 wickets, making him one of the tournament’s top wicket-takers.
