In the past two days alone, 12 soldiers, including three officers, embraced martyrdom during intelligence-based operations (IBOs).
The ISPR confirmed that Major Sibtain Haider, aged 30 and a resident of Quetta, sacrificed his life while leading troops during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Similarly, in Orakzai district, Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Tariq, Major Tayyab Rahat, and nine soldiers were martyred while confronting Indian-backed terrorists.
Security forces retaliated effectively, eliminating 19 terrorists on the spot, while subsequent retribution operations neutralized an additional 30 militants involved in the Orakzai attack.
