Gianluigi Donnarumma Set to Join Manchester City After PSG Exit

Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is reportedly set to join Pep Guardiolaโ€™s Manchester City following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG recently confirmed that Donnarumma would no longer feature in Luis Enriqueโ€™s plans, opening the door for the Italian to move. Sources indicate that Donnarumma has already spoken with Guardiola about his role in Cityโ€™s squad for the upcoming season, with the deal expected to be financially attractive.

Donnarummaโ€™s PSG stint was marked by tension with Luis Enrique. While he initially secured the starting spot, the arrival of Lucas Chevalier and contract disagreements led to his exit. Donnarumma expressed disappointment, saying, โ€œI am disappointed and bitter. I hope to say goodbye properly to the Parc des Princes fans.โ€

At Manchester City, Donnarumma would join Ederson and recently recalled James Trafford, creating a strong goalkeeping trio. Meanwhile, Edersonโ€™s future remains uncertain, with reports linking him to a potential loan to Galatasaray.
