Young Trailblazers: Four Children Make History by Summiting Lal Batti Peak in Azad Kashmir
In a historic first, four young climbers have successfully reached the summit of Lal Batti Peak, standing tall at 16,000 feet in the breathtaking Ratti Gali region of Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir.
The adventurous group included Anabiya and Afan from Islamabad, and Shahabuddin and Ahmad from Neelum Valley, all aged between 11 and 14 years. Their inspiring achievement has captured hearts across the country and earned praise from outdoor enthusiasts and adventure lovers alike.
Support and Determination Paved the Way
Their journey to the top was supported by the Neelum Paradise Hikers Club, which provided logistical assistance and mentorship throughout the expedition. The young climbers braved difficult terrain and high altitudes, showing remarkable resilience.
“The climb was tough, but we didn’t give up,” shared one of the climbers. “Reaching the top made all the effort worth it.”
