Gold Prices Rise by Rs. 500 Per Tola in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD –
The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan saw a significant uptick on Friday, rising by Rs. 500 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The new price now stands at Rs. 362,700 per tola, up from Rs. 362,200 recorded on the previous trading day.
Gold and Silver Rates See Upward Movement
Along with the increase in per tola rates, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs. 428, reaching Rs. 310,956 compared to Rs. 310,528 a day earlier.
The 22-karat gold rate also saw an increase of Rs. 392, now priced at Rs. 285,053 per 10 grams, up from Rs. 284,661.
Silver prices followed suit, with the per tola silver rate rising by Rs. 149 to Rs. 4,073.
International Market Update
In the global market, the price of gold increased by $5, reaching $3,400 per ounce, up from $3,395. Meanwhile, the price of silver also rose by $0.14, now at $38.40 per ounce, compared to the previous $38.26.
