Gold Smashes All Records in Pakistan, Price Almost Touches Rs. 400,000

Gold Prices in Pakistan Hit Record High Amid Global Market Rally

Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a new all-time high on Tuesday, following the uptrend in international bullion markets, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Gold Rates in the Local Market

In the domestic market, the price of 24-karat gold jumped by Rs. 5,100 per tola, reaching Rs. 398,800. Similarly, the 10-gram rate rose by Rs. 4,372, settling at Rs. 341,906.

Just a day earlier, gold had already seen a sharp increase, climbing by Rs. 3,400 per tola to Rs. 393,700 on Monday.

Global Gold Prices Push Higher

On the international front, gold also maintained its bullish momentum. APGJSA reported that bullion was trading at $3,770 per ounce, including a $20 premium, after gaining $51 in a single day.

Silver Follows the Uptrend

Silver prices mirrored the rally in gold, climbing by Rs. 42 per tola to settle at Rs. 4,637.
