Elite Force Deployed at Babusar Top to Ensure Tourist Safety in Kaghan Valley

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police have deployed the Elite Force at Babusar Top and other upper parts of Kaghan Valley to enhance security for travelers and tourists, officials confirmed on Thursday.
Boosted Security After Recent Attack
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Shafiullah Khan Gandapur, the move comes after a recent ambush on a police patrol van that left two personnel injured. He said a search and strike operation is currently underway on both the KP and Gilgit-Baltistan sides of the valley to eliminate threats.
“The Elite Force, fully equipped with modern arms and ammunition, has been deployed at Babusar Top and adjoining areas. The safety of passengers and tourists traveling between both regions is our top priority,” the DPO stated.

The DPO further added that regular patrolling and strict monitoring would ensure a safe environment for tourists visiting Kaghan Valley and those crossing Babusar Top.
With these measures in place, authorities aim to provide both local residents and visitors a secure travel experience in one of Pakistan’s most scenic but sensitive regions.
