Spanish centre-back Iñigo Martínez is set to begin a new chapter in his football career, leaving Barcelona for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. The 33-year-old was spotted at Barcelona Airport, preparing to fly out and finalise his transfer.

Speaking to reporters, Martínez described the last few days as “hectic but fulfilling,” sharing that he had an emotional farewell with his teammates. “I wish them all the best,” he said warmly, reflecting on his time at the Catalan club.

The defender also expressed his gratitude to the Barcelona fans for their unwavering support over the past two seasons. “Thank you for these two years; they have been wonderful,” he added.
