MLB Recap: Mariners, Reds, Guardians, Blue Jays, Mets, Yankees Shine
Mariners 1, Orioles 0 – George Kirby pitched seven strong innings, allowing just three hits as the Seattle Mariners extended their winning streak to eight games. Josh Naylor’s first-inning RBI single proved decisive. Andrés Muñoz earned his 28th save, closing out the Orioles in a tense ninth.
Reds 6, Phillies 1 – Brady Singer delivered six scoreless innings, while Spencer Steer drove in three runs to power Cincinnati past Philadelphia, snapping the Phillies’ four-game winning streak. Bryce Harper’s ninth-inning homer was the lone score for the NL East leaders.
Guardians 4, Marlins 3 – José Ramírez hit a crucial eighth-inning homer, giving Cleveland the win and cementing his place as the franchise leader in multi-home run games. Kyle Manzardo also homered, helping the Guardians claim their sixth win in seven contests.

Yankees 9, Twins 1 – Aaron Judge returned to form with a homer, while Giancarlo Stanton had his first four-hit game in nearly two years. Carlos Rodón allowed just one hit in seven innings, powering New York to a dominant win.
