  • Game 5 (Orange Bracket): North Carolina 5, Indiana 3

  • Game 7 (Purple Bracket): Pennsylvania 9, California 0
    Reagan Bills from Johnstown, Pennsylvania was the star of the day, striking out double-digit batters and helping the Mid-Atlantic Region team secure a dominant shutout win over the West Region’s squad from Westchester-Del Rey, California.

  • Game 8 (Orange Bracket): Japan 6, Canada 1
    Iwate, Japan picked up their first-ever win at the Little League Softball World Series, defeating the team from Repentigny, Quebec in impressive fashion.


Game Highlight: Japan vs. Canada

Japan’s Rinka Nozaki was brilliant on the mound, striking out the side in the top of the sixth inning to seal the 6-1 victory. Despite giving up two walks, Nozaki held her composure, fanning three batters to end Canada’s comeback hopes. With this win, Japan moves on in the winner’s bracket, while Canada faces an elimination matchup against Latin America’s representative from São Paulo, Brazil on Tuesday.
