Cement Dispatches Jump 30% in July 2025 Amid Post-Eid Recovery and Strong Export Demand

Pakistan’s cement industry saw a significant boost in July 2025, with total cement dispatches rising 30.1% year-on-year (YoY) to 4.0 million tons, up from 3.1 million tons during the same month last year. The surge was driven by robust domestic demand and a sharp increase in exports, along with normalization following the Eid holidays.


🏠 Domestic Cement Sales Climb 18% YoY

  • Domestic dispatches reached 3.0 million tons, marking an 18.4% YoY increase.

  • Northern region local sales grew 12.3% YoY to 2.4 million tons.

  • Southern region local dispatches surged 54.2% YoY to 570,000 tons.


🌍 Cement Exports Soar 84% in July 2025

  • Overall cement exports jumped 84.2% YoY, reaching 1.0 million tons.

  • Southern exports rose 73.2% YoY to 776,000 tons.

  • Northern exports witnessed an impressive 134% YoY increase, climbing to 232,000 tons from 99,000 tons in July 2024.

  • Northern region: Dispatches increased 17.6% YoY.
