Real Madrid Announce Squad for La Liga Opener Against Osasuna

Real Madrid have confirmed their squad for the 2025/26 La Liga season opener against Osasuna, scheduled for Tuesday at the Santiago BernabΓ©u.

The biggest surprise is the inclusion of 18-year-old Argentine prospect Franco Mastantuono, who has been called up to the first team after just four days of training. He could make his league debut in front of the home crowd.

Fede Valverde also returns after recovering from a minor muscular issue that kept him out of Madrid’s final pre-season friendly. However, Jude Bellingham, Ferland Mendy, Eduardo Camavinga, and Endrick are unavailable due to injuries, while Antonio RΓΌdiger misses the match through suspension.

The squad also features academy midfielder Thiago Pitarch, while new signings Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, and Álvaro Carreras are in line to make their first official appearances for the club.

Real Madrid’s Squad vs Osasuna

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Sergio Mestre
Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Asensio, Álvaro Carreras, Fran García, Huijsen
Midfielders: Valverde, Tchouameni, Arda GΓΌler, Ceballos, Thiago Pitarch
Forwards: VinΓcius Jr, MbappΓ©, Rodrygo, Gonzalo, Brahim, Mastantuono
