Pakistan Women to Face South Africa in First T20I Series at Multan Cricket Stadium
The Pakistan women’s cricket team, led by Fatima Sana, is set to take on South Africa in a three-match Bank Alfalah T20I series at the Multan Cricket Stadium, starting Monday.
Series Schedule:
- 1st T20I: September 16, 7:00 PM PST
- 2nd T20I: September 18, 7:00 PM PST
- 3rd T20I: September 20, 10:00 AM PST
This series will be the first T20I event hosted at the scenic Multan Cricket Stadium, which has previously welcomed 11 ODIs and six Test matches. To promote fan engagement, entry to the stadium is free, with spectators required to present their original ID cards for access. The matches will be broadcast in high definition on A Sports and livestreamed on the PCB’s official YouTube channel.
Pre-Tournament Preparation: Both teams are using this series as a preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in the UAE, scheduled for next month. South Africa, the runners-up in the last ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, is touring Pakistan for the second consecutive year. In their previous visit, South Africa was defeated 3-0 in a T20I series in Karachi from September 1-4.

- South Africa’s Group: B (Bangladesh, England, Scotland, West Indies)
Pakistan will face Sri Lanka on October 3, India on October 6, Australia on October 11, and New Zealand on October 14 in the World Cup. South Africa will depart for the UAE on September 21, while Pakistan will follow on September 23.
