Punjab Police Celebrates Punjab Culture Day 2025 with Traditional Spirit

Lahore – In celebration of Punjab Culture Day 2025, the Punjab Police embraced the rich cultural heritage of the province with traditional pride and enthusiasm. In line with the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, officers and personnel marked the occasion by donning the traditional Punjabi turban, a powerful symbol of the province’s identity and cultural legacy.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, shared a heartfelt message on this special occasion, stating, “Punjab Police takes pride in the province’s unique traditions and the beautiful culture that reflects its glorious heritage and civilization.”

He further emphasized that the core values of love, peace, brotherhood, unity, and tolerance are deeply embedded in the culture of Punjab. He reaffirmed the police department’s commitment to preserving the province’s heritage, traditions, and cultural values for future generations.

To ensure the safety of all cultural festivities, comprehensive security arrangements were put in place across the province. IG Punjab highlighted that protecting Punjab’s cultural and historical landmarks, as well as its folk traditions, remains a key priority for the department.

Dr. Usman Anwar concluded by expressing solidarity with the people of Punjab, stating that the Punjab Police proudly stands with the community in celebrating this day with true cultural spirit and dedication.
