Four Suspected Foreign Agents Arrested in Karachi Anti-Terror Operation
KARACHI: Law enforcement authorities on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of four suspected foreign operatives in a targeted raid conducted in the Quaidabad area of the city.
The operation, jointly carried out by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Sindh Police and a federal intelligence agency, was based on credible intelligence, said SSP Mohammed Shoaib Memon.
According to initial reports, the arrested individuals are suspected of having links to an external intelligence network, with alleged ties to India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

SSP Memon stated that the men were allegedly involved in espionage and reconnaissance activities, and their arrest may have prevented potential terror attacks in the country.

Authorities recovered the following items during the raid:

Multiple mobile phones
The mobile phones, which reportedly contain sensitive digital content, have been sent for forensic analysis to determine the extent of information gathering and communication methods used.
📸 Surveillance of Sensitive Sites
SSP Memon claimed that the suspects had taken photos and videos of sensitive national installations, which were then allegedly shared with foreign handlers using encrypted communication software.
💵 Alleged Cross-Border Contacts
During preliminary interrogation, the suspects reportedly admitted to cross-border meetings with foreign personnel, including members of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF). According to investigators, they were allegedly compensated with cash, liquor, and valuable gifts in exchange for their services.
