Mbappe Off to a Flying Start in La Liga 2025-26 Season
Kylian Mbappe has started the new La Liga 2025-26 season just as he finished the last—scoring goals and breaking records. The French star once again proved decisive, netting the only goal in Real Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Osasuna on Matchday 1.
Mbappe needed time to settle in Spain last season, but once he adapted, he became unstoppable. The league’s top scorer and Golden Boot winner ended the previous campaign with nine goals in his last five league appearances. Against Osasuna, he added another strike to underline his status as Real Madrid’s most lethal weapon.
